SCDS utilises artisans and atelier throughout the US, UK, and Europe to fabricate the limited edition pieces from reclaimed, recycled, or sustainably harvested materials that are sold through interior designers and architects. 

Cannula table lamp in Venetia glaze

Our hand thrown ceramic lamp bodies are glazed small batches with base made from reclaimed English brown oak. We named this glaze in memory of a dear friend, Dr Venetia Newell. She worked tirelessly in Britain for the rights of others. In the hope that every person would enjoy the freedoms and benefits of democracy. She understood all too well that with those freedoms and benefits come responsibilities. We must each shoulder those responsibilities to ensure that the next generation can live in a free society.
